Chief Digital Officer, Coriolis Technologies

Career so far…

After graduating in 2008 with a First Class Honours degree in Art and Design, Kris ventured into the creative industry, opening an animation studio in Newcastle with three other media professionals. This business paved the way for freelance music projects with CBBC and the Olympics 2012. Following this, Kris moved to London joining agencies Impressive PR and LittleGold, respectively, developing digital marketing campaigns for famous musicians and comedians during this period.

In 2012 Kris joined Cicero as a Design Manager, developing the company’s brand and marketing functions. After successfully implementing new marketing processes and establishing the brand strategy, Kris then launched Cicero’s digital and creative department, opening up a new revenue stream for the business. This enterprise included working closely with international organisations like HSBC, the FA and KPMG on a wide range of creative projects. Since 2014, the creative department managed end-to-end digital marketing campaigns for B2B organisations. The team consisted of five roles covering brand and digital strategy, content creation, and online distribution. The digital marketing service is still a core part of the Cicero business model. 

In 2019 Kris joined the Executive Committee, supporting business activity in the acquisition of Cicero by Havas Group in 2020. This acquisition and role of Director presented the opportunity to work closely with all parts of Havas Group, integrating creative and digital solutions on a vast range of marketing and communications campaigns. Following the successful transition into Havas Group, Kris joined Coriolis Technologies, a leading Trade Finance and sustainability start-up, as Chief Digital Officer.

At Coriolis Technologies, Kris oversees digital marketing, brand strategy and sales support, comms and PR, event management, product design, and broader directorial responsibilities. Since 2020 the company has grown from a team of seven to 24, successfully launched a new ESG and sustainability product, and is currently transitioning to a new phase of operation.
